Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain - 12 Crucial Tips & Tricks You Need To Know
8. Interrogate To Find Your Secondary Objectives
Taking a beat from GTAs IV and V, Kojima Productions have included side-objectives to all your main missions, the acknowledgement of which you'll probably only realise at the close of each. Rather than let you fly blind and hopelessly stumble upon these goals like in GTA, you can prompt them on the Map by interrogating almost everyone you come across. Most of the time you'll be nabbing soldiers and using them to mark where their comrades are, but if you opt for the vague-sounding "Spit it out" dialogue, it gets guards to mark everything from certain blueprints to optional prisoners for extraction. Taking the time out to fully explore any compound/structure you come across pays dividends in the long run, and almost all the prisoners you extract have far higher skill sets than the regular soldiers you can Fulton out elsewhere.
