Metal Gear Solid V: Ranking The Missions From Worst To Best

16. Backup, Back Down (Episode 9)

Overview: Rebel guerrillas are launching an offensive. Eliminate as many fighting vehicles as possible in order to weaken the Soviets' reinforcements. This one's a total cake-walk but also really enjoyable: there are a ton of enemy vehicles which you are tasked to destroy inside of 15 minutes. Fear not, though, because all you need to do is destroy one in order to fulfill the mission's requirements, and so theoretically you could just hide Snake in a bush and play out the clock while you go run an errand or something. Still, it's a blast to just run around the map seeking out enemy vehicles and fixtures to destroy with your biggest and most explosive weaponry, but it's also easy to get complacent here, so make sure you have a ton of cover when approaching any enemy vehicles, because who wants to keep replaying through all this again? There are a bunch of optional objectives to keep you busy, too, so those 15 minutes will fly by, and if you're awesome enough, you might even be able to beat the clock by a few.
