12. The War Economy (Episode 21)

Overview: Eliminate the CFA official stationed at Nova Braga Airport. He is due to conduct an inspection with a visiting arms dealer, so expect heavy security. Hideo Kojima may as well have named this mission "Total F***ing Destruction", because if you go the Rambo route, that's exactly what you'll need to unleash to get through it. Now, you certainly can go the stealth route, but considering that you have to contend with helicopters, Walker Gears and the introduction of surveillance cameras, it's extremely satisfying to just launch a GMP-draining all-out assault instead. Even when everyone outside the buildings is dead, it's great fun blowing up all the enemy vehicles and turning the airport into a flaming, fiery shell of what it once was. Once you've identified the building in which the mark resides, it's as simple as running in and pumping the guards with lead. Or, you know, you could snipe him from afar or even Fulton him if you're not a fan of the Michael Bay option. Whether you're a pyromaniac or a ninja, though, this one's really entertaining.
