The remake of Metroid II, Samus Returns, has improved its predecessor in every department, especially the boss encounters. Although you could defeat Queen Metroid in the original game by blasting her over and over, this revised battle is a lot more elaborate.

Queen has a wide variety of attacks that spread across the room and floor, urging the player to use the Screw Attack and Spider Ball to avoid sustaining critical damage. Even though the Metroid leader's battle tactics are original, how to kill her is even cooler.

After you shoot her enough times, the queen will charge at you with its fangs bared, ready to chow down on you. In this moment, you need to use the Grapple Beam to tug her tongue downward, slamming her into the ground. While stunned, you must roll into her throat with the Morph Ball and bomb her insides. The Metroid's strategies change drastically every time you do this but once you've blasted her from within several times, the queen will be no more.
