Quadraxis is an enormous tarantula-like robot that launches drones, bullets, missiles, and every type of laser you could imagine. As is custom with any enemy shaped like a spider, Samus must blast this sinister mechanoid's leg joints to cripple his body.

Instead of dying like a normal boss, Quadraxis just disconnects his head and hovers around, sealing himself in an impenetrable field. The only way to hit him at this point is to use your Echo Visor to pinpoint the signal on his body that's shielding him.

When you destroy the receivers, you will move onto the final phase. You need to use one of Quadraxis' legs as a ramp and Boost off it and land on him, detonating a Bomb in his noggin. (This is the hardest part but it's so satisfying when you pull it off.) The strategy to defeat this Quadraxis is so ingenious, you almost don't mind how brutally difficult he is.
