Metroid Dread: 10 Best Secrets You Must Find

4. Amiibos Unlock Bonuses

For some, defeating the final boss just isn't good enough. There are some players (especially Metroid fans) who will not rest until they have found EVERYTHING. They will triple-check the map and scour every corner, room, and funny-shaped rock to look for the last few Energy tanks and Missile tanks.

And after you've collected every upgrade you come across and admire your 100% completion rating, you can pat yourself on the back, assured that you found everything the game has to offer.

But that might not be true. Even if your completion is 100%, it's still possible to get more by using an Amiibo. By scanning in a Samus Amiibo, you can permanently add an extra Energy tank (100 additional health). You can also use the EMMI Amiibo to permanently add a Missile+ tank, which consists of 10 missiles.

On top of that, you can use these Amiibos for daily bonuses in the guise of extra health and missiles. Obviously, these additions won't effect your completion rating (you can't exactly get 102%, can you?) but the option is there for true completionists.
