Though Turn 10's Forza Motorsport sat out E3 this year, Playground Games made up for it by revealing the existence of Forza Horizon 5.

The latest entry into the hit spin-off racing franchise will be set in Mexico and, as is customary for the series at this point, it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Anyone looking to make the most of their Xbox Series X or beefy PC rig is basically duty-bound to give this game a go later this year, because it seems primed to become the visual standard-bearer for the racing genre.

Gameplay-wise the newest entry into the series is pretty much exactly what you'd expect, but given the brilliance of the Forza Horizon formula, is that in any way a bad thing?

Fans also won't have long at all to wait, as the game will release on November 9, with a day-one drop on Xbox Game Pass of course.
