Microsoft & Bethesda E3 2021 Showcase: 8 Ups & 4 Downs

7. The Superb Pacing & Presentation

Like most of the best E3 showcases, Microsoft and Bethesda's event was pretty much wall-to-wall with games, save for a few well-placed breaks to let viewers catch their breath.

As such, the 90-minute show time flew by, packing a ludicrous amount of content into the livestream and confirming that Xbox is building an enviable library of diverse content across genres and budgets.

Above all else, in a mostly underwhelming E3 it was by far the best presentation up to this point - compare it to Koch Media's trainwreck of a showcase and it couldn't seem any more the polar opposite.

It wasn't perfect, of course, but it got in and got out in a reasonable time while keeping the focus where it counts most.
