Microsoft & Bethesda E3 2021 Showcase: 8 Ups & 4 Downs

6. Halo Infinite Gets Back On Track

Halo fans have been understandably worried about the state of Halo Infinite after last year's infamous "Craig" reveal and the game's delays, but Microsoft seemed to quell much of the anxiety with Infinite's showing during their E3 showcase.

Between showing off a sliver of cinematic campaign gameplay and the first footage from the free-to-play multiplayer component, Infinite is looking decidedly more polished and less-ridicule-worthy than the last time we saw it.

That's not to say the game is entirely out of the woods yet - for one, it still doesn't have a concrete release date beyond "holiday 2021" - but it nevertheless seems to have benefited considerably from being delayed by an entire year.
