Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor - 10 Characters Who Must Cameo

3. Bilbo Baggins

Here's where we have to get a bit creative, but it does make sense so bear with us. At this point in the timeline, Bilbo is in possession of The One Ring and is living safely and peacefully in The Shire. The main plot device in the game is that Talion is part wraith and we all know wraiths are able to sense the ring. It would be interesting if, as Talion's powers grew and he became more wraith-like in nature, that he got glimpses of Bilbo. Bilbo would be occasionally taking The Ring out and admiring it, as we assume he must do as it slowly corrupts him over the years and in these moments Talion would lose control of his powers and see visions of the hobbit in his home. It would reminds us of the larger story and Talion's part in it. We wouldn't be surprised if a plot twist involved Sauron knowingly having a human infected with the wraith powers to use him as a spy to locate the ring, it would then explain how the Nazgul zero in on Bilbo's position so quickly outside of their ability to sense it.
