Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor - 8 Reasons To Be Excited

3. Watch Your Minions Grow

As you delve deeper into orc society, the player ends up controlling certain enemies and will be striving to give them a rise to supremacy. Each orc is ranked in power €“ the more power they have, the greater their status and the more followers they have. While this might mean that you take out rivals on your own, or by using other agents, at times you€™ll want to have just a big old fashion brawl. This will be where the player commands a powerful warchief under their control to fight it out with another one €“ and both take all their followers along for a might ruck. Naturally, Talion will have a massive interest in this fight as the player will want to use this distraction to ensure that the rival warchief bites the dust €“ or at least is sufficiently reduced in power by running away in order to make him easier to eliminate later. Such fights can totally change the nature of the orc society within Shadow of Mordor as it might not be just the warchiefs who fight €“ but their subordinates will turn up to fight for their masters too.
