In Minecraft, you have the option to either fend for yourself or spawn in with friends on a private server. This little addition makes the entire process of the game more fun for you and other people. If you want to, you can join a creative multi-player public server and have hundreds of people working on creations! The chat box is easy to use and so is the interface to join: You just pick a server and click "Connect" and you're online! If you want your game to have longevity and replayability join a couple servers!

In the game, new players and veterans alike all have to do the same thing: survive. Whether you just bought the game and downloaded the client or you've been playing since Alpha; the experience starts out the same but what you do with it is what makes it a great game. The basics is that you go up to a tree, punch it until the block is destroyed then continue. After that it doesn't matter what you do.
