The great thing about Minecraft is that you can do anything as soon as you start out on your adventure. If you see a giant floating mountain in the distance, there is nothing telling you to go climb it and building an amazing base on top! You can do whatever you want whenever you want in the game. If you want to go to The End and slay the Ender Dragon, go ahead (just bring lots of arrows!). If you want to build a worldwide rollercoaster, you can do that! But just when you think you've done it all, you haven't read the next page.
4. New Updates
When Notch first released his "Secret Friday" update, it was a shock to everyone. No one knew what to expect from it, that's what made it a secret. When Notch finally got Minecraft out of Alpha and into Beta, only the developers knew what was going to be put into the game. Some of the latest updates include: Potions, The End, Ender Chests, etc.. Mojang keeps on bringing more things to the table which we wouldn't have even thought about a couple months ago.
