2. Sprint Button
This is perhaps one of the more obvious exclusions to the Xbox version, even to someone who is playing the game for the first time, it is clear that the game needs a sprint button. There are large distances to be travelled if you want to fully explore everything the map has to offer and tottering along at a snails pace doesnt add to the experience. On the PC, the sprint button allows the player to travel over twice as fast as walking while also allowing the player to jump twice as far. The ability was added in Beta 1.8 along with flying, both updates were an attempt to improve player mobility within the world. Although Notch appears to plan to stick to the same update progression as the PC version went through, a sprint button could have been the expectation to this rule.
