Mirror's Edge: Catalyst - 10 Huge New Details You Need To Know About
9. Gabriel Kruger Is A Solid Antagonist
"Gabriel Kruger" - doesn't really sound like the name of someone who's all about fairness and companionship, does it? Visually and phonetically this is a character who wreaks of 90s villain syndrome; he's the head of an evil company, has his own hawkish private military firm, and enjoys heavy surveillance and the odd genetic experiment on his fellow human beings on the side. This makes him well suited for the position of Catalyst's main antagonist - a man that comes to personify and embody the evil of the corporations found within Mirror's Edge. Gamescom's demo even showed off what his white-clad assistant can do - giving off a very animatronic feeling to her combat role as Kruger's bodyguard. Could cybernetics also be a theme in Catalyst's story?
