Monster-on-monster violence is one of the most worthwhile and phenomenal spectacles in World - and can be a huge help when taking chunks of health out whatever you're hunting.

However, an unwanted creature can get right in the way sometimes - particularly if it's a Tzitzi-Ya-Ku that keeps repeatedly blinding the party, or a Tobi-Kadachi forever electro-stunning everyone - so to remedy this... pick up some poo.

Literally, this is what loading your Slinger with Dung is for. Nab some from a variety of places around the map (it's pretty common) and fire it at the interfering creature. You load it by navigating to it when holding L1/LB, and then hitting square/X.

The vast majority of creatures will flee when suddenly accosted with a snout-full of someone else's breakfast from the day before, letting you get back to what - and who - matters.
