7. Clash Of The Titans
With Titan Shang set to eliminate Liu Kang's reality, Shang Tsung and his followers agree to ally with the Earthrealmers. But since Liu Kang relinquished his role as the Keeper of Time, he knew he wasn't strong enough to defeat the enemy.
To even the playing field, Liu Kang reclaims his abilities from the Hourglass. Even though this decision will force Liu Kang to give up his life on Earth, he accepts this choice without hesitation.
Although this is a major turning point, Liu Kang has one more trick up his sleeve. To give him an edge in battle, Liu Kang tracks down Titans from other timelines to aid him, (including the Kitana he fell in love with in his original reality).
Watching Liu Kang march into the final battle with his Titan-filled army is fan-service at its absolute finest. It's also a feast for the eyes since players haven't seen this many kombatants on-screen since Mortal Kombat Armageddon.
