8. Guts The Black Swordsman (Berserk)
Guts is the protagonist of Kentaro Miura's Berserk series, a dark fantasy tale that makes Game of Thrones look like Harry Potter at times. He's a twisted figure who has suffered greatly and responds to his pain by getting better at fighting, and, boy howdy, is he good at it!
The character is cursed never to sleep as he's constantly hunted by demonic spirits, monsters, and horrifying creatures known as Apostles. He spends essentially every minute of his life battling in epic do-or-die fights with terrifying villains. If anything, fighting through the entire MK roster would be a light day for him.
One of his biggest selling points as a fighter would be Dragonslayer, the massive hunk of iron he carries with him to use as a sword. This colossal blade would make some gore-geous imagery as it slices fighters in half.
Guts might not have the same mainstream appeal as other figures on this list, but he would absolutely vibe with this series.
