Mortal Kombat 11: 10 Features From Previous Games That Need To Return

2. Shaolin Monks Gameplay

Mortal Kombat has been rumoured to have Shaolin Monks-esque gameplay mode with every new entry. That's how much people want it.

It's easy to see why as well. Although it was a complete change from how every other Mortal Kombat game played, Shaolin Monks was a great spin-off, and something that could be even better a second time around.

Despite being the first time this sort of regular hack-and-slash gameplay style was used in a Mortal Kombat, it surprisingly really suited the series and ever since then, it's been heavily requested as either a fully-fledged spin-off or a side mode in the next main game.

NetherRealm are pretty good at pleasing their fans, and it wouldn't be surprising if they ended up adding a smaller side mode using this system, even if it's only to shut fans up.
