Mortal Kombat 11: 10 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You
6. You Can "Dial-A-Combo" During Longer Strings
Over the years, Mortal Kombat has put a varying amount of focus on combos. Where the older titles didn't chain things together with fluid animations until way later, now each character comes complete with a handful of three/four/five button chains that are easy to pull off.
At least, they are in theory.
MK 11 puts a big impetus on timing more than any other entry. Even various signature moves require a specific tap of R1 to burn your offensive meter for additional damage, but when it comes to combos, you can actually get ahead of the animation when it comes to inputs.
