Mortal Kombat 11: 10 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You
5. Nearly All The Starting Loadouts Need Changing
In a move that thankfully frees up a ton of your favourite abilities from the "pick one of three" setup across MK X, Mortal Kombat 11's customisation screen lets you build a number of loadouts for each fighter.
However, many of these starting options are preeetty lame, centring on buffed versions of teleports or defensive options - things that aren't going to sway the fight in your favour, especially before you really put time into the tutorial.
To counter this, head into the Kustomisation screen and edit even that base default starting loadout, for any character you're going to use repeatedly.
Give the likes of Scorpion an array of spear swings, Liu Kang his nunchaku stance - even Kung Lao can be modified so his signature teleports chain into longer combo flurries.
Point being: The characters are set up to invite customisation, and outside an array of Presets you can equip, you're best swapping out as much stuff as possible.
