3. The Creeper
Mortal Kombat isn't a horror series, but there's something about it that works well with horror franchises. In recent games, we have seen the likes of Leatherface, Freddy Kruger and Jason Voorhees make appearances. Whenever a DLC is made available for Mortal Kombat 11, we are likely to get another horror icon. Hopefully, NetherRealm has considered adding The Creeper to the mix.
Up to this point, we've seen typical slashers. That is one way The Creeper gets his kills, but he uses different techniques that set him apart. While the others have a signature weapon, The Creeper uses axes, spears and throwing stars to equal effect. He can also fly, which is always useful and fun in fighting games.
The most memorable characters in any game are the ones with unique behavior. What has always made this character entertaining is his personality. Similar to Freddy, he has shown a dark sense of humor and taking joy in his hunts.
The Creeper has never been a playable character in a video game, so this would be new for everyone involved. There are bigger names in horror out there, but if NetherRealm wanted to switch it up, The Creeper is available.
