Mortal Kombat 11 DLC: 10 Old-School Characters We Want To See

5. Ashrah

Mortal Kombat 11
NetherRealm

Ashrah is a prime example of the "looks can be deceiving" ethos. At first glance, with her all-white outfit, you'd think that Ashrah was a warrior of light, a defender of Earthrealm and all that. But alas, this is not the case. Our dear Ashrah is a demon from the Netherrealm, but it seeking to redeem and purify herself from her past.

Making a three-game appearance across the PS2 era of MK games, from Deception to Armageddon, Ashrah hasn't returned. Mistaken as a female iteration of Raiden in early media, due to the similar garb, she plays more like a Kung Lao counterpart. Wielding a vampiric sword, Ashrah's quest for redemption played out well across the series.

Striking a middle ground of combo-based attacks and close quarter fighting, a return of the demon with the change of heart would fit in perfectly to the newer, quicker style of fighting that Mortal Kombat 11 brings.
