Mortal Kombat 11: Every Playable Fighter Confirmed So Far

1. Kronika

The elusive big bad of Mortal Kombat 11, Kronika hasn't actually been outright confirmed as being playable - but, come on, when has the main villain of one of these games not been unlockable at some point?

Though she hasn't been highlighted in action yet, MK's first major female antagonist is the one who sets the time-bending story into motion, suggesting a magical set of abilities not too dissimilar to Geras. Though the franchise has seen fighters wield a variety of interesting powers over the years, Kronika's manipulation of time could open up a wide range of gameplay possibilities, either by freezing opponents in place or using their moves against them.

She's very clearly tied to Geras somehow, who can similarly manipulate time, and the two seem to share some kind of heritage. It's bucking the trend to have a female boss for the very first time, but Kronika - who apparently is literally the creator of all existence - looks more than up to the challenge.
