7. Sonya Blade
When you're voiced by the baddest women on the planet Ronda Rousey your fatality better kick some ass and overall this one does.
As her victim stands on very unstable legs she calls in air support before booting her opponent skyward and riddling their body with bullets. This forces the somehow not yet dead body up into the helicopters blades which blends it into a fine and bloody puree. The severed head spinning towards the camera while still screaming is also a nice touch.
It may not be as good as the drone cutting off limbs and shooting rockets into faces of MK X and it isn't as weird as the blown kiss of fiery death she used to have but overall it's pretty entertaining and sure to bring at least a chuckle from you the first couple of times you nail the right button combinations.
Let's hope at least one of the other fatalities they give Sonya Blade revolves around her locking in an arm bar before ripping the offending limb clean off and beating her opposition to death with the soggy end. They could even call it a rowdality if they wanted to.
