Mortal Kombat 11: Ranking The ENTIRE Roster From Worst To Best

Rounding out the top 20 we have the OG bad guy of the Mortal Kombat franchise, Shang Tsung. Upon release of the first title, Tsung became the distinctive benchmark set for future villains, antagonists and other quintessences yet to come.

Shang Tsung, (commonly referred to as "The Sorcerer" by diegetic characters and external fans alike), is the pinnacle of intuitive character design. The unique selling point circulating the former big bad is based around his soul acquiring magic, allowing him to transform into any character on the roster, taking on their abilities, components and molecules.

Or at least, this used to be the case.

In Mortal Kombat 11, the application of transformation has been reduced to more of a limited concept (presumably because of fair-play). He can still contrarily take on the forms of Reptile, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Ermac, Rain, Smoke and Noob Saibot.

Unfortunately this impressive piece of fan service does not give the player full reign, and appears as more of a skin swap to specifically linked inputs in Tsung's arsenal.
