Mortal Kombat 11: Series Outkasts That Need To Return

There are plenty of characters in MK that utilise fire but none quite like Blaze.

Blaze is basically The Human Torch but, seeing as this is Mortal Kombat, he's a much more brutal version. Being an elemental character Blaze has control over fire and lava, which he utilises to shoot fireballs, teleport through lava, steamroll opponents, and generally burn everything around him.

What's most interesting about Blaze is that he actually became the primary antagonist of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. That game saw him transform into a hulking version of himself that threatened to burn all the realms out of existence unless he was stopped by the heroes. It made for a surprising turn for a character that was previously considered B-level at best.

Blaze wasn't seen again until Mortal Kombat X, where he was merely fighting in the background of The Pit stage. That alone suggests there's certainly a possibility that Blaze will make a comeback in Mortal Kombat 11. A revitalised Blaze with a slightly altered look and all-new lava abilities would immediately make him one of the most compelling characters on the roster.
