Mortal Kombat 11: Series Outkasts That Need To Return

While most of the characters on this list are outlandish to say the least, Kobra is more of a straight-laced throwback. He's a brawler who looks like Ken from Street Fighter and would represent a very different type of combatant to those with outlandish powers.

Kobra was enlisted by Kabal to be a member of the Black Dragon Clan, which is a mercenary group headed-up by Kano. The original iteration of the group was thought to have been hunted down and defeated by Sonya Blade and Jax, but Kabal survived and recruited Kobra and Kira to reinvigorate it.

Following the events of Mortal Kombat X in which Kano was apprehended, the Black Dragon Clan is once again thought to be on the back-foot. Erron Black even claimed in MKX that he killed Kobra! However, this is Mortal Kombat and characters can always return, especially when time travel is now on the table.

So what would Kobra bring to Mortal Kombat 11? Kickboxing is his primary combat technique but he also uses Kali sticks, a machete, teleportation, chi attacks, and can rip an opponent's heart out. He's hardly a typical Mortal Kombat character but that's why he's so interesting.
