There are so many movie references in the most recent game, it's hard to keep count. Some quotes are obvious like how characters called Frost "Elsa". But there are other quotes which are a bit more obscure.

If Johnny Cage fights the younger version of himself, they occasionally refer to each other as “sexy bitches” and meeting each other is “re-goddamed-diculous”. These lines are from the second Austin Powers film when the title character meets his younger self. Both Cages joke that they should make a movie playing twin cops, which is a nod to the Jean Claude Van Damme film, Double Impact.

If two Noob Saibots fight, one of the spectres utters, “He who shall not be named.” The other will say, “Return to your deathly hallow.” This dialogue references the Harry Potter series.

If Kano fights Jade, he tells her he can eat a peach for hours. This line is said by Nicholas Cage's character in the action thriller, Face/Off.

When The Terminator asks Cage if he has killed anyone, he says, “Yeah, but they were all bad.” This is what Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character says to his wife in True Lies when she learns he is a spy.
