3. Liu Kang's Dragon Fatality From Mortal Kombat 2

We all said it couldn't be done - that "they'll never go THAT far" with fatalities - but oh how wrong we were.

Towards the close of the trailer, Liu Kang straight-up conjures a flaming dragon, that is not only (essentially) a living embodiment of the Mortal Kombat dragon symbol, but a callback to a fatality that debuted in 1993's Mortal Kombat 2.

It's incredible to see this done in movie form, in a way that's shot from a distance so we get to revel in the scale of everything, without worrying about wonky up-close CG.
