10. Jax's Arms Have Now Been Destroyed By Four People

MK's new trailer opens with a bang - or rather, the shattering of Jax's human arms.

In the video games this came by way of Ermac, a twisted "walking soul prison" sorcerer-type who wrenched off Jax's arms in Mortal Kombat 9.

In the movie though - like many other non-video game incarnations of the mythos - we get something completely different: Sub-Zero as the perpetrator.

Solidifying Sub-Zero as the villain here, Baraka also sliced up Jax's arms in a 90s comic, Ermac did so in the game and Goro tore them off in 2020's immaculate animated movie, Mortal Kombat: Scorpion's Revenge.
