4. Predator
Both Predator and Alien coming to Mortal Kombat was a sci-fi film buff's dream come true. Finally, we gamers could make the two iconic characters battle it out in a great game.
Predator seemed like a more obvious fit to the Mortal Kombat franchise that his arch nemesis; seeing as he's more of a physical brawler, uses weapons, and is more of a bipedal creature. His skill-set included his wrist blade, razor disc, and plasma cannon, while also utilising his stealth, med-kits, and, if worst comes to worst, self-detonation!
Predator and Alien are the first two non-Earthling characters in the Mortal Kombat series, and Predator was a solid addition to the roster. His ability to dash between long-range and CQC makes him one of the more dynamic fighters on the roster, and his look is iconic.
Will he be a character that fans clamour for to return? Time will tell.
