Mortal Kombat: Ranking Every Guest Character

Of all the guest characters in MKX, Leatherface felt like the least exciting. Yes he's a horror legend, but in comparison to the other characters he wasn't particularly exciting. Boy did NeatherRealm prove us wrong.

That said, it was still something of a dream come true to be able to play as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre icon, and pit him against Jason in gruesome bouts. While Jason was very imposing and stalking, NeatherRealm opted to make Leatherface a little faster and more jittery, which made him more creepy somehow.

Wielding the iconic chainsaw, Leatherface uses it like a maniac to cut through his prey, even blinding them with the sparks from it, or tossing it up in the air, before cutting them in half for the brutal fatality. If that weren't enough, Leatherface has one more ace up his sleeve in the form of a mallet that he bonks opponents in the head with, and a gnarly hook to hang them on.

He may not be the most beloved horror villain, or the most requested guest character to the series, but Leatherace was an awesome addition that made us geek out and gross out in equal measure.
