Mortal Kombat X: 10 Huge Problems Nobody Wants To Admit

3. You Can See Everything On Offer In An Evening

Remember that feeling when you first played Destiny; the overwhelming sensation of just knowing even after a couple of hours in that you'd seen it all? Sadly as the multiplayer is broken and your offline options are limited to perfecting characters and clocking the short story, it's the same here. It's definitely not that game's levels of featureless drivel, but as many a comment section and critical review has pointed out - unless you're willing to continually play as certain characters and learn something that requires more skill like which combo-chains to string together to enact the longest juggles, this is a rental rather than a full purchase. The only main game mode outside the story you can replay that feels like traditional MK is the self-labelled Traditional Tower, and maybe that's all some people will need - but it's a huge shame that everything else on offer is weighted through online tie-ins and gimmicky offbeat modes essentially designed to give you challenge through frustration.
