Mortal Kombat X: 10 Legendary Characters Yet To Be Announced

1. Jax Briggs

Another 'father character' if he makes an appearance alongside Johnny Cage and Kenshi, Jacqueline's father Jax's metal-armed physique has always been one of the many characters that transcended his video game origins and became a recognisable pop culture icon. With some strange costume switch-ups in the past that have seen his more militaristic or athletic look change over to more of a streetwise thug, hopefully with NetherRealm introducing the Factions system, Jax can keep up his MK 9 appearance and head up the Special Forces alongside Sonya Blade. Fatality and moveset-wise he's always a total powerhouse, albeit a nimble one, with past games focussing on just how perfectly they can get across the sheer might behind each of those cyber-enhanced arms. A certain now-legendary WTF-Fatality saw him grow to the size of a small building to crush foes underneath - something that's never been explained, referenced or made a return yet. Here's to Jax surprising everyone all over again as an older, wiser version of the surefooted soldier of old, realising his powers in the fight to reclaim the Amulet of Shinnock this April. Is there anyone we missed that feels like a necessary inclusion, or are there some staples of the series you could stand to sit this entry out?
