A character whose speculation comes from a blacked out image on the character select screen NetherRealm have been showing off: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wjNDGMwb-c Another reason for the speculation over the inclusion of Watchmen's most iconic character is that, in the last game, NetherRealm used the Jackie Earle Haley version of Freddy Krueger over the, arguably, more recognizable and more iconic Robert Englund portrayal. Though Jackie didn't provide the voice itself (according to the voice cast listed on IMDb); it could be interpreted by some as evidence of a fondness for the actor, whose breakthrough role was Rorschach in Zack Snyder's film version of Watchmen, by someone at NetherRealm (though more likely a decision made by Warner Brothers). Special Moves: You would suspect that, given Rorschach has no powers, there would be a lot of physical specials in his move set; with an emphasis on environmental interaction attacks. You could have Rorschach uses a match and a can of hairspray to give him a shot ranged fire attack; and he has a gas-powered grappling gun that could be used for multiple specials. Another thing NetherRealm could do is make Rorschach immune to cold based attacks; the ending of Watchmen takes place in Antarctica and Rorschach goes in his normal costume (seemingly unaffected). "FINISH HIM!" He once handcuffed a child murderer in place, poured kerosene around him, set it on fire and gave him a hacksaw to help him choose between burning to death or losing a hand; you can see NetherRealm implementing this very nicely in the new game.
