1. Ferra/Torr - Better Than One
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=va4WxRfCh1M For the top spot it just had to be this absolutely ridiculous combination of the art department rendering the inside of each character (check out Reptile's all-green version), the 'feel' of Ferra's blade slicing through someone, and Torr's workmanlike piling-up of the two half-corpses to finish. Easily the one animation you couldn't show your mother, the one that exemplifies the shock factor NetherRealm love to deliver, and the most over-the-top depiction of violence there's been in a game since... well, the last MK.
