Another amazing aspect of Majora's Mask is the story and tone. Unlike most other Zelda titles, Majora's Mask isn't full of hope and happiness. Instead, it focuses on things like loss, death and depression.

Although this doesn't make it the cheeriest adventure, watching Link overcome all of this is truly one of his greatest adventures.

Considering the 3D remake, it's clear that Nintendo are aware of how beloved Majora's Mask is. Its inclusion is practically mandatory so that people can understand why Zelda is held in such high regard.
