MyCareer mode may be 2K's leading light, but it's far from the only jewel in its crown. Online MyTeam squad building and arcade-style outdoor exhibition games remain very popular, as do the offline Franchise and League modes. Almost all of the hype and publicity surrounding 2K16's development has centred around Spike Lee's involvement (and the standard cover star "guess who" rumours), casting doubts over the hope that 2K Sports have invested sufficient care and effort in improving things across the board - not just MyCareer mode. For the sake of NBA 2K16's overall quality, let's hope this particular concern proves to be unfounded.
