As mentioned in the introduction, one of the biggest problems with 2K15 is players getting stuck in animations, taking automatic clunky steps to close down a perimeter player without being instructed to do so, or flapping at a clearly out-of-reach pass instead of sprinting back to defend the basket. An improved relationship between the input of the gamer and actions of the player under their control is sorely needed, as is an improved collision detection system. As pretty as the graphics look year after year, players too often become trapped in the same lackadasical contact-layup sequence when driving to the basket, or flop unnecessarily to the court when attempting to prevent an offensive opponent from posting up. In fairness to 2K, these problems aren't exactly easy to fix. However, should gradual steps be taken to improving upon such issues, they will surely go a long way to satisfying their (admittedly hard-to-please) fanbase. Good luck to the developers - they'll need it.
