NBA 2K17: 8 Most Frustrating Things In MyGM
5. Slow Player Development
Let's assume that your favorite player is rated in NBA 2K17 at around 70. Nothing to write home about, but he's not tragic either. You can improve him by sending him to a training camp.
On the surface this looks great, but through the summer he can only work on one element of his game. Even though you have the VC to improve him, you still can't do so.
Granted, no player goes from benchwarmer to MVP-candidate during the span of one summer, but as players like Hassan Whiteside or C.J. McCollum prove, impressive progress is not impossible.
Why not allow even one player on the roster to make a quick jump from mediocre to great? Is that too much to ask?
