When comparing the way John Wall looked in NBA 2K17 and the way he does now, what stands out the most is his body, which is more athletic and in tune with the way the real John Wall looks - his shoulders are broader and his muscles more outlined.
The face might need some work - albeit just some - but the player looks more the part of a professional basketball player. An upgrade in player models was one of the few things that needed improvement and judging on the screenshots available, it seems that 2K addressed this issue when working on this edition.
