The surprise came as many expected George to sign for the Lakers, with strong rumours all summer that the Indiana Pacer would sign a deal with Magic Johnson in L.A.
It was not to be, and the pairing of George with MVP Russell Westbrook is something which will be a mouth-watering prospect for 2K fans.
