The Frenchman is turning into the defensive titan that he was projected to be. His improvements on the defensive end didn't go unnoticed, as Gobert made the All-NBA First Defensive Team and All-NBA Second Team last season, and was a serious candidate for the DPOY award. NBA 2K creators definitely noticed this as well.
Gobert is now the best player on the roster, so he might improve even more, this time on the offensive end. With a new, pass-first point guard, Ricky Rubio, a 90 rating doesn't seem that much of a stretch. Granted, this is a big improvement, but as proven by Gobert's stats, he earned that.
Actually, seeing him rated lower than 90 will be a disappointment.
