NBA 2K19: 8 New Features You Need To Know
2. Bigger Neighbourhood?
2K18's new mode, entitled 'Run The Neighborhood', aimed to combine elements of MyCareer, Pro-Am and MyPark together into one blockbuster feature that'd get people talking. It did, albeit not for all the right reasons. Scan any YouTube video about the mode and you're likely to see comments calling it 'unnecessary', 'boring' or downright 'annoying'.
Every great mode has to start somewhere.
Neighborhood will make a return in 2K19, and it's expected to be bigger than ever before. 2K have been pretty tight-lipped about everything that'll be available in the souped-up story, so details remain scarce. One thing is prevalent in every preview of the game however: it's bound to be bigger than before.
Hopefully 2K scale back on the microtransactions that plagued the original when they're busy building a new map to explore. The high price on haircuts and tattoos was outrageous, and avoidable. The developer must find a way to make Neighborhood more user-friendly if they're going to expand it.
