NBA 2K20: 7 New MyTeam Features Revealed
2. Position Locks
This is a momentous shift in the entire mechanics of the game and could even render players who were excellent at 2K19, essentially useless going into 2K20.
Position locks are coming, meaning your cards will have a main and sub position on their card which means they can only be used in those said positions.
This is massive given the fact we saw teams running with the likes of Shaquille O'Neal at point guard come the end of the game, while having a big squad meant everything.
Position locks should mean a welcome return to the game for some of the game's top point and shooting guards.
Expect to see more teams running the likes of Chris Paul, James Harden, and Steph Curry at the one and two this year than ever before.
This could spell the end of so called 'cheesing' among online games as players are forced to use players where you'd actually expect to see them in a live NBA game.
