NBA 2K20 Demo: 10 Reactions You Need To Know
5. The Demo Is Primarily For Park Players
The big selling point for 2K20's demo is that it enables everyone to fiddle around with MyPlayer builds, examine some of the new badges on offer and then test your skills in a 5v5 game. Some on Reddit have also pointed out that it's possible to open 2KU and play a scrimmage game there.
That's handy to know, although some will still bemoan the lack of variety.
The demo is primarily useful for those who spend most of their time playing Park rather than those who dip into a full season controlling every player on their roster. Would it have really killed 2K to let people play a full game (even two quarters would've done) of ball rather than limiting it to MyPlayer?
The game you will get to play isn't representative of what's on offer in this franchise at all. The lack of pickup games and literally anything outside of handling one man on the court is ever-so-slightly disappointing. The limitations make it harder to spot gameplay improvements and see what 2K20 has in store next month.
