Coming off the bench he regularly scored 20 plus points and nailed game winning 3's time and again. This season he was a shadow of his former self. Last years 6th man struggled to find any consistency with his shooting and general offensive play. No it didnt help that the Knicks had a lousy season but this is heavily owed to Smiths lackluster play. Carmelo Anthony still managed to finish 2nd in the league in total points scored but Anthony's no.2 was unable to complement these stats. His 84 rating is sure to take a knock as will his shooting and passing numbers.
