NBA2K20: 5 Big Gameplay Differences We’ve Learnt About Already
4. Defence
Read into this one what you will, but it sounds like 2K could have made defence even tougher to break down in 2K20.
One of the biggest stress factors in the 19 edition was the dreaded 'off-ball' defence tactic employed by many online players, a tactic which it's safe to say caused more than its fair share of rage quits.
2K20 sees the introduction of a 'read and react' system, giving on-ball defenders the chance to try and read the offence and dribble moves more easily.
In theory, this should lead to more players chancing their arm at playing defence rather than letting the CPU simply take over for them, but us 2K players all know that this won't be the case.
This could make defence almost impossible to break down and if anything, sounds like they have aided lock-downs even further.
