Neflix's Castlevania: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
1. Trevor Belmont
It may seem like a no-brainer to put the show's main protagonist at the top of this list, but in this case, there's a good reason for it: Trevor Belmont is legitimately one of the single best and most entertaining anti-heroes in recent memory. Plus, it didn't exactly hurt that as the main protagonist, he had the most screentime to make a good impression.
He's just such a snarky scumbag in the most endearing possible way - something that is made perfectly clear in the bar fight that opens up episode two - and never lets up for the rest of the show. And every interaction he has with another character is pure gold.
Moreover, throughout the course of season one, he grows into a much more earnest character that is genuinely likeable and easy to root for. Even as this happens, however, he also never once loses track of the humor and sarcasm that made him so enjoyable to begin with.
Plus, his motivation of being a burnt out, exiled warrior who is trying to bring honor back to his family name is strong, not to mention his exceptional skill as a demon-slaying warrior.
In an adaptation as good as Castlevania, a seriously engaging protagonist like Trevor feels right at home.
